The Editorial Board of the journal "Microsystems, Electronics and Acoustics" (MEA) takes all necessary measures to ensure the long-term preservation and permanent accessibility of published scientific materials. Our archiving policy is built upon the principles of Open Access and the reliability of digital infrastructure.
1. Digital Archiving
Since the journal has been published exclusively in digital format since 2020, the primary copy of each issue is preserved in the following repositories:
-
National Repository: All journal issues are submitted to the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.
-
Institutional Repository: Full texts of articles are hosted in the Electronic Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Institutional Repository (ELAKPI), ensuring link stability and permanent storage.
-
Journal Platform: The journal's website provides open access to current and archived issues (including the archive of its predecessor, the "Electronics and Communication" journal).
2. Author Self-Archiving
We encourage authors to disseminate their work and support a self-archiving policy:
-
Authors are permitted to post the final Publisher's version (Version of Record) of their article in personal repositories, institutional websites, or professional networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu) immediately upon publication.
-
When self-archiving, authors must provide a link to the original article on the journal's website using the DOI identifier.
3. Access in the Event of Publication Cessation
In the unlikely event that the journal ceases publication, the Publisher (Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute) is committed to maintaining access to the archive through the institutional repository and the international databases where the publication is indexed.
