Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements:
- the manuscript is within the journal's scope and the selected section;
- the manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by another journal;
- the manuscript has been prepared according to the Author Guidelines and the template;
- the manuscript is 3,000-8,000 words in length;
- the abstract is 200-250 words and follows the required structure;
- 5-7 keywords or key phrases are provided;
- in-text citations and references follow APA 7th edition;
- full names, affiliations, e-mail addresses, and ORCID iDs are provided for all authors;
- a corresponding author has been identified;
- all authors have reviewed the manuscript and agreed to its submission to the journal.
Author Guidelines
GEOENGINEERING accepts original research and review articles within the journal's scope. The manuscript must be original, previously unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal. Before submission, authors should review the Article Requirements and prepare the manuscript in accordance with the journal's structure and formatting requirements.
Underground Space Planning and Urban Infrastructure
The section covers original research and review articles on the planning, development, and sustainable use of urban and territorial underground space, integration of underground facilities into urban infrastructure, spatial planning, transport and engineering infrastructure, and integrated underground space development.
Geomechanics and Geotechnics
The section covers original research and review articles in geomechanics and geotechnics, including studies of the physical and mechanical properties of soils and rocks, stress-strain behaviour of soil and rock masses, stability of natural and anthropogenic geosystems, soil-structure interaction, and modelling of geomechanical and geotechnical processes.
Underground Construction
The section covers original research and review articles on the design, construction, operation, and reconstruction of underground structures, tunnels, and underground infrastructure facilities, underground construction technologies, stability and safety of underground facilities, and the interaction of underground structures with soil and rock masses.
Geotechnical Engineering and Mineral Extraction Technologies
The section covers original research and review articles in geotechnical engineering and mineral extraction technologies, including studies of mineral deposit development processes, surface and underground mining, drilling and blasting technologies, mechanisation and automation of production processes, geotechnical support of mining operations, and improvement of the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of mineral resource use.
Environmental Protection Technologies
The section covers original research and review articles on environmental protection technologies, including studies of anthropogenic impacts on environmental components, environmental monitoring and assessment, pollution prevention and reduction, soil and water treatment and restoration, waste management, reclamation and remediation of disturbed areas, and environmentally safe and resource-efficient technologies.
